Curious about therapy?
People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons - there’s no right or wrong way to come to this decision. Some people may have a diagnosis from a healthcare professional, while others may not have a formal diagnosis but are experiencing distress, such as feeling burnt out, struggling with low self esteem, coping with difficult life experiences, or facing loss or other challenges that feel hard to manage alone.
Whatever brings you here, you are welcome.
A formal diagnosis is never needed for us to work together.

Feeling worried or uncertain about seeking therapy?
Seeking therapy can feel daunting - please know you're not alone! Many people feel worried about reaching out for support, and taking that step can feel challenging. By the end of the first appointment, most people feel more at ease, they have a clearer sense of what to expect, and begin to recognise the potential benefits of attending.
Practicalities
-
I offer therapy online or face to face in the Poole/Bournemouth area to individuals who are over the age of 18.
-
I accept self-funded clients.

The cost for self-funded clients of a standard individual 50 minute appointment is £120. Individual 90 minute appointments typically needed for EMDR sessions is £140.
-
I accept clients covered by BUPA, AVIVA, Vitality and AXA Insurance.
